Be a Tree with Strong Roots!

God was showing me that a strong tree has very strong roots. The tree that is strong takes in nurishment through the living water. Strengthens it's roots. If it does not it withers up and dies.
Then I was reflecting on something my friend, Jaime Barkwell shared. That even when a tree appears dead (in winter) it is still producing internal fruit. External fruit is in season but internal fruit is ALWAYS being produced. What appears dead on the outside or what we see with our eyes is not really dead. That's why it is so important to walk by faith and not by sight. For what we "see" is temporary. What we don't see is eternal.

Cursed is the strong one who depends on mere humans,Who thinks he can make it on muscle alone  and sets God aside as dead weight. He's like a tumbleweed on the prairie, out of touch with the good earth. He lives rootless and aimless in a land where nothing grows. But blessed is the man who trusts me, God, the woman who sticks with God. They're like trees replanted in Eden, putting down roots near the rivers - Never a worry through the hottest of summers, never dropping a leaf. Serene and calm through droughts, bearing fresh fruit every season. - Jeremiah 17:6-8 (MSG)
